Intersecting artificial intelligence, distributed systems, and game theory: Strategies in networked systems
Abstract:
In this talk, I present my past and future research connecting and intersecting (evolutionary) game theory, artificial intelligence, and distributed systems of various kinds. Using mathematical modeling and a wide array of computational methods, I explore topics spanning the evolution of cooperation, networks of agents optimizing under uncertainty, and applications of artificial intelligence to 3D graph learning. By integrating game theory and distributed computing with the application domains of AI and computational social science, my research goal is to understand complex (networked) systems, ranging from neural networks and their training dynamics to societies that evolve and form norms and morals.
