SCALE (Scalable Computing for Advanced Library and Environment) is a basic library for numerical analysis targeting the weather and climate of the Earth and the planets. It has been developed in mind that it is widely used from next generation supercomputer to general personal computer. In this tutorial, we will explain the basic usage of SCALE using version 5.2.5. In version 5.3 or later, this explanation may differ slightly.
