Title:
Tensor renormalization group with the truncated singular value decomposition for the higher dimension
Abstract:
We review the formulations of the tensor renormalization group (TRG) including the system with the higher degree of freedom such as the higher dimension and the gauge interaction. In the tensor network calculation, we approximately contract the network by using the singular value decomposition or variational optimization. In order to improve the approximation and reduce the computational cost, there are various types of the TRG method which are represented as the combination of these approximation method. After these review, we also mention that the extension to the higher dimension using 3-dimensional system. We try to introduce more details of our recent work on the large degree of freedom, including the MDTRG.
