Research Activity in Computational Molecular Science Research Team
Abstract:
I will introduce some of our recent activities on materials simulation and informatics. In particular, I will focus on the developments of quantum chemistry computational approaches and some applications of molecular design and materials development that we are performing.

3rd Speaker: Fumiyoshi Shoji

Title:
Improvements in the operation of HPCI
Abstract:
HPCI (High Performance Computing Infrastructure) is a vital computing infrastructure that supports various research and development in Japan. It consists of Japan's top-level supercomputers, including Fugaku.
More than 10 years have passed since HPCI started operating, and while it has contributed greatly to the generation of many remarkable results, some problems have been pointed out in terms of the system and operation.
This presentation reviews current HPCI operations and discusses the problems that need to be improved.
We also propose a concrete plan for the improvements of HPCI.
