Research summary
In the development of FugakuNEXT as the next-generation computing infrastructure, we will conduct research and development mainly on hardware design, including microarchitectures of CPU and an accelerator, a compute node architecture, an interconnection network, and an overall system while investigating trends in technologies of semiconductor manufacturing and packaging as well as memory technology. In particular, we will conduct co-design between thoese hardware systems and applications considering the application characteristics.
