Satoshi Matsuoka has been named recipient of the Seymour Cray Computer Engineering Award

Dr. Satoshi Matsuoka, the director of RIKEN Center for Computational Science (R-CCS), has been named recipient of the 2022 IEEE Computer Society Seymour Cray Computer Engineering Award.

Dr. Matsuoka is being recognized for “long-term global leadership in supercomputing system design, such as TSUBAME and Fugaku.”
