Report on the RIKEN International HPC Spring School 2024 - Toward Society 5.0

From Wednesday, March 13 to Friday, March 15, 2024, RIKEN International HPC Spring School 2024 was held online. The spring school was the second time as a program to interest students and young researchers in entering the field of computing and related technology. This year’s spring school had a total of 27 participants, including students (graduate students), and researchers.

Participants learned about parallel programming in both theory and practice and the skills they need to master them through lectures by Senior Scientist Atsushi Suzuki(RIKEN). Participants also had the opportunity to experience hands-on training sessions with the supercomputer Fugaku.
