Introduction of Research Activities at High Performance Big Data Research Team 2024
Abstract:
The High Performance Big Data Research Team at RIKEN Center for Computational Science (RIKEN R-CCS) has been working on performance analysis and system software R&D for extreme-scale computing towards convergence of AI/Big Data and HPC as well as fundamental R&Ds for HPC. In this talk, Kento Sato will introduce a few R&D activities at the team.

Status of the Feasibility Study Project for Next-Generation Supercomputing Infrastructures
Abstract:
Together with various domestic and international partners, we have been conducting a feasibility studies on next-generation supercomputing infrastructures as a part of a national project by the
Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) Japan. In this talk, we introduce the recent status of Riken's feasibility study project as a system research team. We also
briefly introduce recent activities of the Next-Generation High-Performance Architecture Research Team of R-CCS.
