Abstract

Biological molecules such as proteins and nucleic acids are responsible for all life activities in the cells, and dysfunction of these molecules can cause severe diseases. Information on the 3-dimensional (3D) structures and dynamics of these biomolecules are essential to understand their functions’ mechanisms. We will present recent developments in algorithms and software to obtain information on the structure and dynamics of these biomolecules by integrating computational modeling with experimental data, such as X-ray crystallography, cryo-Electron Microscopy, High Speed Atomic Force Microscopy and X-ray Free Electron Laser.
