Abstract
Our team developed FDPS (Framework for Developing Particle Simulators) and continuously improved its functionality and performance. We overview the recent additions which help to improve the performance of large-scale simulations using FDPS. They include (a) the support of polar and cylindrical coordinates for domain decomposition doe ring- and disk-like systems, (b) fast and scalable communication methods for particle and LET exchange, (c) improved support of automatic code generation for particle-particle interaction kernels, (d) support of concurrent execution of communication and calculation, (e) support of Particle-Mesh Multipole Method for periodic systems. Here, items (a) to (c) have been included to the latest release, FDPS 7.0. We plan to release a new version which includes items (d), (e) and several new features, and continue the development and maintenance of FDPS in future.
