New video "Cumulonimbus Cloud Simulation Using a State-of-the-Art Cloud Modeling Method" Published

A new visualization video has been released showcasing a numerical simulation of the lifecycle of a cumulonimbus cloud, conducted by the research and development project for Moonshot Program Goal 8 at RIKEN Center for Computational Science (R-CCS).
The video clearly illustrates the dynamic processes of cloud formation, development, and dissipation. The simulation employs the cutting-edge "super-droplet method," one of the most advanced techniques in cloud modeling, and is expected to contribute to the improvement of future weather and climate models.
