The 4th R-CCS International Symposium The Supercomputer Fugaku: Simulation, Big data and AI supporting Society 5.0. February 7-8, 2022 Online

As a leadership center of high-performance computing, RIKEN Center for Computational Science (R-CCS) explores "the science of computing, the science by computing, and the science for computing". R-CCS has developed and has been operating the supercomputer Fugaku as well as facilitating other leading edge infrastructures and conducting cutting-edge research on supercomputing. Now, so-called "Society 5.0" is expected to realize a better life and a better society by integrating cyberspace with the physical world. R-CCS with the flagship supercomputer Fugaku can be the centerpiece of simulation, big data and AI supporting Society 5.0 which will be a driving force for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

R-CCS has been organizing annual international symposiums to promote HPC research and development. In the fourth in a series of the symposium, we will focus on the early achievements on the Program for Promoting Researches on the Supercomputer Fugaku and discuss a next-generation computing environment in the perspective of HPC for quantum computing and quantum computing for HPC. The 4th R-CCS International symposium will be held online in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection as following the 3rd R-CCS International symposium. It is free to participate this international symposium, but the registration is required to access the online symposium site. We would like to ask you to register first from here.

R-CCS is now accepting applicants for 2022 RIKEN R-CCS International HPC Computational Science Internship Program targeting graduate students (Ph.D. program) affiliated with overseas universities or institutions. Click here for details.
