CALL FOR PARTICIPATION |
RIKEN Advanced Institute for Computational Science (AICS) was started July 2010 to promote the research and development for high-performance computing in Japan, and to be going to run the "K computer," a 10-peta-flops supercomputer which will be operational in 2012. This research and development should not only be achieved by Japan but also with various international collaborations. The 2nd AICS International Symposium will be held to explore such international collaborations. AICS has eight research teams to cover the wide range of high-performance computing areas, computer architecture, system software, parallel programing language, quantum physics, quantum materials, computational chemistry, computational biochemistry, and climate modeling. This symposium will have eight sessions to cover the eight research fields. Sixteen researchers are invited from home and abroad including AICS researcher. Each of them is full of knowledge, experiments, and insights in his field. If you are interested in this symposium, we welcome you to join and enjoy the symposium. |
