JSPS PD Researcher, Masahiro Takahashi visited Technical University of Munich, Germany on October 26 to engage in research exchange with Professor J. Knolle’s group. During his two-week stay, Takahashi participated in the international conference “Munich Quantum Matter Days” (October 27–31), where he presented a poster titled “Quadrupole response of spin-3/2 impurities in the gapless Kitaev spin liquid”. In addition, he delivered a group seminar in Professor Knolle’s laboratory on the topic “Non-Abelian anyons in the Kitaev spin liquid: stable realization and detectability via lattice defects”, sharing his latest research findings.
