Initiatives Using Generative AI to Support Research and Supercomputer Users
JapaneseAt the RIKEN Center for Computational Science (R-CCS), we are advancing initiatives that leverage generative AI to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of supercomputer user support and the utilization of research outcomes.
Supercomputer Report Navigator
The Supercomputer Report Navigator is a service that allows users to explore research outcomes generated on large-scale supercomputing systems in Japan, including the supercomputer Fugaku, through an interactive dialogue with generative AI.
By entering a research topic or keyword of interest, users can easily discover related research outcomes and projects. The service enables anyone to explore how supercomputers are being used in a wide range of scientific research.
You can try the service by clicking the button below.
Supporting Fugaku Users with a Generative AI Assistant
At R-CCS, we have introduced the generative AI chat assistant AskDona on the support website for Fugaku. AskDona is an AI assistant based on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technology, which generates responses by referring to Fugaku manuals and technical documentation.
By presenting relevant information in response to user questions, AskDona helps Fugaku users resolve common inquiries related to system usage on their own.
