R-CCS has been selected as the lead institution for the “HPCI Development Planning and Feasibility Study: Operational System (Computing System) Development Planning” under MEXT

The RIKEN Center for Computational Science (R-CCS) has been chosen by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) as the lead institution for the “Operational System (Computing System) Development Planning” within the HPCI Development Planning and Feasibility Study Program.
This program aims to study feasible technologies in architectures, system software and applications for developing next-generation HPCI systems that will maximize scientific outcomes by enabling seamless collaboration between future flagship systems—envisioning the advanced FugakuNEXT era and beyond—and the diverse computing systems operated by HPCI institutions across Japan.
