This seminar will introduce how to use ParaView, a large-scale visualization software package available on the Fugaku supercomputer, including stand-alone execution, batch processing, and distributed visualization using a client/server configuration. It will also explain ParaView Catalyst, an in-situ visualization framework that enables visualization processing to be performed concurrently with simulation execution. As simulations continue to increase in scale, the costs associated with storing and transferring output data have become a significant challenge. In-situ visualization has therefore attracted increasing attention as a technique for reducing these costs by performing the required visualization and analysis during simulation execution.

The presentations by RIKEN R-CCS will be delivered in Japanese, while the presentation by Kitware Europe will be delivered in English. Participation is free of charge.
