The RIKEN Center for Computational Science (R-CCS) is seeking teams to compete in the 2027 APAC HPC-AI Competition with support from RIKEN. This project is open to students enrolled at universities, graduate schools, and National Institutes of Technology (KOSEN) in Japan.

The APAC HPC-AI Competition is an annual international student competition organized by the HPC-AI Advisory Council. Participants compete in High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), showcasing their technical skills and teamwork.

We are looking for passionate students who are ready to take on the world and compete on the international stage with support from RIKEN.

Eligibility
  • Applicants must be enrolled at a university, graduate school, or National Institute of Technology (KOSEN) in Japan between April 2027 and March 2028.
  • KOSEN applicants must be in their fourth year or above, or enrolled in an advanced course.
