The "JAPAN SCIENTIST AI JAM SESSION 2026" will be held as follows, continuing from last year, by the Advanced General Intelligence for Science Program (AGIS).

JAPAN SCIENTIST AI JAM SESSION 2026 is a hands-on event designed to explore new possibilities for scientific research through the use of cutting-edge AI technologies in real-world research settings. With the support of AWS, Anthropic, Google, NVIDIA, OpenAI, researchers from a wide range of fields will bring their own research challenges and explore, through trial and error, how to make effective use of advanced AI technologies such as generative AI, multimodal AI, and AI agents. JAPAN SCIENTIST AI JAM SESSION 2026 is a forum for collectively envisioning and putting into practice a future in which AI is used not merely as a tool for supporting research tasks, but as a collaborative research partner that accelerates scientific discovery.
