Call for applications: International HPC Summer School 2017 (in Boulder, Colorado, USA, June 2017)

The RIKEN Advanced Institute for Computational Science (AICS) is calling for applications to attend the International HPC Summer School 2017 which AICS will be co-hosting with other research institutes in Europe, the US and Canada. AICS will invite up to 10 selected young applicants to the program. If you are interested in applying, please read the information and apply through the International HPC Summer School(IHPCSS) website.

The international summer school will provide an opportunity for young researchers to broaden their perspective and acquire new knowledge through lectures and workshops offered by the leading scientists in the HPC field and to network with other participants from many parts of the world. The objective is to foster young scientists who can lead future advances in the HPC field.

International HPC Summer School 2016 held in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Report (in Japanese): International HPC Summer School 2016 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

This program started as the European-U.S. Summer School on HPC Challenges in Computational Sciences. Japan participated for the first time in 2013 and Canada followed in 2014. This year’s event will be the 8th International Summer School on HPC Challenges in Computational Sciences.
